Barack Obama’s Top Music List of 2019

Barack Obama is known of course as the USA’s first black president, but in a more playful light, we recognize his tradition of posting his top music picks at the end of each year. He took to Twitter on December 30th with a list of about 35 different songs.

This year, a few of his top picks included artists Koffee, Burna Boy, Lizzo, and Lil Nas X, which was surprising to some. Barack Obama always seems to amaze us with his style and sharing some of his interests. Many of the artists listed in his music list showed their love and appreciation by tweeting out comments like, “Thank you”, “I love you”, and “I feel special”.

Many of the artists were in shock and so grateful for the recognition that Barack Obama gave them. With that being said, make sure to add these songs to your playlists for, “keeping you company on a long drive or helping you turn up a workout”, as stated by Barack Obama himself. Thanks Mr. President!
